Why Haemodialysis?

Haemodialysis is a procedure that cleans and filters the blood of individuals whose kidneys have failed. The function of kidney is to remove enough wastes and fluid from your blood to keep you healthy. If your kidney functions does not work for 85-90%, then the patient may require Haemodialysis.

How does Haemodialysis work?

Haemodialysis is a procedure where a dialysis machine and a special filer called an artificial kidney, or a dialyzer, are used to clean your blood. In order to get blood into dialyzer, the doctor or experienced staff needs to make an access, or entrance into your blood vessels. This is done with minor surgery, usually at arm.
